Someone recently commented: Some groups are testing two days a week in the office instead of three. I’m curious if anyone’s group is doing this and what areas are testing this.
Prefer 5 days wfh but 2 would much be better than 3!

We're being told it's going to be 5 days a week in the office, starting in mid September.
No word on how they're going to handle people who don't live near a hub.

It’s the commercial RE market as well as the fake collaborative theme…all financial institutions investing in this sector needs cheeks in the seats to prop it up… also, local businesses benefit from a vibrant downtown. So, you have local politics at play to drive more tax revenue from all the above.
Any day that I go into the office, I never see more than five people on my floor which seats more than a hundred. The parking lot is empty. I’d say most people are doing less than two day a week already.
Anyone else staring at their cubicle wall between emails and Skype calls wondering why the h*ll they bothered putting pants on this morning for any of this? RTO is a fail in my opinion. It’s almost like it’s intentional though…hmm…
This RTO experience has been the most embarrassing thing I’ve ever witnessed by such a smart company. Looks like the leaders all cuck out regularly.
I question the logic of the leaders every time I get ready to go to the office, and continue to question it the entire time I am there.
I understand they are cutting costs, so don't want to spend money ki----g weeds in the parking lot, or fixing the crumbling curbs. I'm glad they spent the money on the rodent traps by the door. It's also good to know if I need a ladder while working, I can get the one that's sitting in the lunch area. I'm still trying to figure out who I am "better together" with, and where the people are that I should try to collaborate with. I have yet to see how my being in the office makes me more effective, and where the innovation is supposed to come from as I sit by myself. Maybe I will be inspired by all of the dust, and empty cubicles.
Why don't they trust you to work from home. why doesn't the us corporate state trust their tax and debt slaves?
Still at home 5 days a week, myself... so not going to test 2 in the office. Nah.
