I have a suspicious feeling that Sam’s Club is gonna close more stores like they did like 5 years ago.
I recently overheard from the Team Leads that they all were instructed per email (from someone running the market) to update their Relocation preferences; this is following all of them being required to take an extensively long refresher CBL on “how to be a manager at Sam’s.” It all leads me to believe that they want to know how many people with some power/responsibility/knowledge they could retain if maybe they were to close the whole market? This comes after we’ve received MANY visits from people higher up than just market managers.
An executive operations manager is supposed to be making a visit to our Club soon and all the leads were told they had to be there no matter what.
