EM a conveyer belt for shltty products and sponsored managers

All in all, it feels like a conveyer belt carrying one after another sh---y manager carrying them around from one assignment to another no matter how terrible they actually perform (actual vs portrayed documented performance do not match). Between shltty managers, expat frauds, and meeting attending, process slurping brown-nosers there isn’t much left to handle at the baggage claim.

EM a conveyer belt for:

  1. shltty products
  2. sponsored managers

and

  1. crushed souls.

The level of disengagement, cynicism, depression, and withdrawal in the workforce is remarkable. Even the new hires fall into this mood after just a few months when they realize their skills are completely irrelevant.

This is the intended outcome of the Potential Setting system. It’s a self fulfilling prophecy to “convey” future leaders hand picked by existing managers to the top. It was never intended to do quality checks along the way, have accurate evaluations of competence, or be equitable. If you arent one of the chosen few to be “raptured”, enjoy your life of XOM servitude in the lower CL bands and performance buckets.

As always. It was never what you know. It’s who you know.
