Looking for suggestions on desk chair brand that won’t add to torture.
Gaming chair was a bust for lumbar support.

I found a deal via EBay a year or so ago on a Steel Case chair for $200- I think it's a Leep2? Great chair - need to buy used cause they are like $1,200 new on Amazon. Look for local places that sell used office stuff - they will usual have some worth looking at...
Losers here are more concerned about chairs than layoffs. I guess sitting comfortably in a failing company is more important than employment.
But don't worry; there's a participation trophy for every downvote. Dipshits.
Had no idea about discounts. Thank for suggestions.
I bought some used Herman MIller Aeron chairs for home a couple of years ago (during COVID WFH). They're an older version of those in the office. check craigslist, there might be somebody who resells chairs that were bought from offices that didn't need them anymore.
In retrospect, I think I'd try to find something else a bit more comfortable.
try a standing desk or one of those ba--s that you can sit on
One more vote for Herman Miller Aeron. It's expensive, but worth it - considering that you spend 1/3 of your day sitting on it.
You can get significant discounts on Herman Miller and Steelcase, which are both good options. I think you just have to use you Wells Fargo email to signin to the account and discounts are applied, but you can search teamworks for more options. I bought a Steelcase Gesture earlier in the year and it is nice.
Herman Miller Aeron or Embody or look into the equivalent Steelcase chairs. Like @hba mentioned the investment is sizeable, but the return is absolutely worth it.
Do you have chronic back pain? Go to doctor, get a letter, get an accommodation, get them to get you an expensive office chair at home.
Herman Miller Aeron chair. Look for YouTube videos of alternatives if the price is too steep. Remember though, it is literally the last office chair you’ll ever need to buy. IMO - worth every penny.
