I've had that happen to me personally at a couple of suppliers. One of the project leaders gets a ha---n for you, suddenly they have nothing for you to do. Funny thing is these same leaders regularly came into work hungover so bad they could hardly function.
No issues.They will have to hire the laid off people via Agency or PS.
Heck, I submitted retirement request in June and then canceled in August. Not one email, call or text from any management congratulating me or asking me why I changed my mind. I think they have all been schooled on don’t say a thing. I was leaving September 30 but with all the rumors I did not want to miss out on any cake if ya know what I mean. After 30 some years I have a pretty good handle on getting the things done day to day. We are now in the calm before the storm. When the packages are announced and folks start jumping ship they won’t have enough oil on them doors to keep ‘em swinging. It is going to be an interesting place to work for sure.
