Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

CHIPS Act!

As CHIPS Act gets signed into law, INTC stock hits a new 5-year low.
Make no mistake, CHIPS Act is just a taxpayer-funded govt. bail-out for these companies, just like the banks and carmakers were bailed out 12 years ago.

Sorry to break the news to you, but the semi world already mocks Intel employees.

In fact it’s a huge red flag on a resume - especially a long tenure. They wonder, how would that person stay so long there?

It is different from the banks and carmakers. Banks certainly know how to make money and the carmakers definitely can make cars. Intel has big problems making new / better chips and GPUs (and most of Intel's other new endeavors have not been great). The banks and carmakers also had to pay back the bailouts they received. The CHIPS act will be a gigantic failure and embarrassment to the entire country. Intel will NOT be a success as a foundry. People worldwide will mock Intel and Intel employees... GLTA.
