I heard about layoffs in tech dev, anyone on here that can confirm or have details?

Tech Dev took a sharp downhill turn after the Tech Dev Oscar's. Shortly after that weird parody show they were all sold to IBM and TechM.
Tech Dev was having quiet layoffs for years. By that I mean, we were usually required to cut at least 5% and as much at 10% some years. 2021 was the first year were there were no force reductions. Then of course, there have been many rebadging exercises. There are a few employees actually left, most of them spend their days cleaning up the mess that Tech M makes.
Tech dev was all outsourced to Tech M excepts for a few that manage the contract……
TechDev hasn't been around for a few years now. So rumors of layoffs are perhaps a bit dated.

Of course this site is pure speculation and not to be believed or taken as gospel! People like to come here and vent or put their wishes in writing so all could see. Nothing ever written on this site has come to fruition.

Where did you hear that? On TV?
I “heard” rumors of a layoff at ATT on a website the layoff.com. Without something more than “I think”, “I heard”, or “layoff at company A means layoff at T on the horizon” it is all speculation.
Based on the poor quality (generally) and lack of work ethic… This makes sense
Based on the entitled attitude of many, and poor quality on average, it makes sense to cut a chunk.
