I survived so many of these. But this time, I do not want to survive.

Why don't you people just stage a huge walkout, maybe it will get their attention. They can't function without employees, give them demands, justify your job, this is ridiculous!!!
I agree the SIRP info was taken down, and is not back up yet. You can back door it and find it other ways, by searching similar words, like termination. From there the very last paragraph says severance up to a maximum of SIX 6 months. Only a few weeks ago it said a max of NINE 9 months. The 9 months was for long serving employees. So that high end has gone down by 3 months, lower. And so on.
If you've seen evidence of the severance package changing, please post a reference regarding where to find it. As of right now, there is NOT a new version of the SIRP policy on life@ford. The previous version was removed a couple of weeks ago and it has not yet reappeared.
I can’t find it on line. Any suggestions on how to find it?
The severance amount changed again. Look it up online.
This is funny. If you are capable enough you wouldn’t be bearing this stress. You could have left by now.You are scared to leave ford because you may have to work hard elsewhere.
I would have quit. But I need the 9 months pay...
I'm there with you and exact same scenario. At this point and given how deep the cuts will be in our dept alone, I'm almost hoping for the same and in fact so much so that I'm within an eyelash of putting my hand up to try to volunteer for this.
If you survive, think of how much work you'll inherit by virtue of your colleagues disappearing. Don't forget too how much the professional work avoiders left standing will be able to dodge and deflect that will magically make its way to you. Sometimes the money just isn't worth it no matter what.
I really enjoy working here! Every place has it's ups and downs- small companies and large corporations alike. The great thing is there's a lot of job openings right now, and if you don't feel that you're getting the most out of your job or are not enjoying your work, you can find another job where you can be happy and hopefully enjoy the work and the environment.
ok Quit why stay
I don't want to survive either. Those that do will be in for a rough haul.
