All those assigned to Model e got 15-20% base salary increase from the new 2 tier salary grade bands just because they are in the right place at the right time but not necessarily higher talent than Ford Blue colleagues

Ah yes, Jac Nasser. Remember the free computers we got? And the 20% discount gas cards. Ford was going to be an e-commerce company riding the explosion of internet based companies. What a perfect comparison to Farley trying to ride the presumed explosion in electric vehicles. Both mindlessly ignoring the core competencies of Ford.

The Jac Nasser comparison is accurate. Also remember that Nasser worshipped Jack Welch and wanted to turn Ford into GE right down to the rank and yank system performance review system. Farley worships at the altar of Elon.

Ok anyone else getting Vietnam flashback to the Jac Nasser days. He too was looking to change the company from a car company to a consumer products company focusing on subscription services. Sound familiar? He too went on a giant cost cutting binge including the creation and spinoff of visteon. Once again anyone else getting Ford Blue vibes. Finally his cost cutting caught up with him with the firestone fiasco. This too is sounding very similar to this new battery announcement of using cheaper materials. But instead of flipping cars I am guessing we are upgrading to fire. I am starting to guess Ford is doomed to repeat history.

Did you take the time today to watch the Ford+ transformation instructional video that was posted on the homepage?

If you did, you can see first hand how game changing the company's future really is going to be. With the amount of hard work ahead of us in Model e, it is practically assured that jobs will be safe and retained in Doug Fields organization.

To the people on this forum that always seem to ask how Ford will succeed as a primary data and digital experiences mobility company, all of the answers you are looking for are in that well done video. Just watch and you will see.

No group is immune. MODEL E REVENUE DOES NOT SUPPORT MODEL E EXPENSES.
