Prepare for the worse but don't expect it

It's as simple as that. That's the easiest way to survive the ongoing uncertainty with your mental health intact. You do what you can to be ready for the worst-case scenario and then continue as if it's business as usual. You don't have to think about it all the time if you know you'll land on your feet if it happens. Just my 2 cents.

Agree 100%. Resume and LinkedIn are updated and I'm ready to roll. Business as usual for now but I've set up job alerts and started reaching out to contacts at other companies to test the waters. You can prepare too, just make it a priority to get things in order. Now is also a great time to review your finances and cut out anything unnecessary or negotiate lower prices for recurring services.
