See these about the office space BOBs showing up. If you mysteriously get bad commentary about your performance about something random, it's a good sign that they are preparing to let you go and have a reason to point to.
layoffs and budgets are already in the books. Best tell is your boss acting differently unless they are a straight up savage animal (poker face champ). Then there is the document this during this downturn, we r fortunate to have this time... every time my boss however was the sign I should have noticed.
They happen every year. Fact of life, no signs needed. Get out before they walk you out.
