Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

I have nothing good to say about Wells Fargo anymore; it's gone down the tubes.

Wells Fargo is not the company that hired me. They no longer have vision and values and the only ones who matter are upper management. Charlie has ruined the company! The stock falls and the working conditions suck and no one seems to care. I'm documenting everything so that, if I need to take action, I can win. The who thing about diversity, inclusiveness, and equity is a pile of cr-p too!

So OP , those who rail about DEI either say it goes to far or not enough. The funny thing is they both agree it is fake. What is your take?

We’re seeing retaliation against whites now. Big yawn energy. You can change your hiring practices but you certainly won’t change anyone’s mind. Hr- Who do you think you are, the CIA?

DEI and racist hiring has taken a massive toll. Why work hard or try and move ahead if its just a fake interview and they're going to hire based on race. Its unsaid but everyone knows this to be true.

Documenting in detail with dates and names is smart.

Not to sue them, but to defend yourself if WFC is trying to pin something on you. For eg, doing something Mgmt tells you to do that goes against any compliance paperwork you’ve signed (happens all the time!). Also to defend yourself against errors which are caused by any of the numerous manual work arounds necessary to make the technology function properly (if you’ve previously notified mgmt in writing that certain issues/procedures are putting your dept at risk)

I keep a running file. Have only had to pull it out once for a very large error caused by our inability to get basic system enhancements we’ve been requesting for over 10 years. It prevented a situation where upper management attempted to make me and my boss the fall guy for system failures. (And no - they still have not corrected the issue 😏)

DEI is just emails and intranet stories I ignore.

It doesn't impact my job. It is just part of a broader category of corporate spam I receive and ignore.

If it bothers you to have to see it and click delete, set up a rule in Outlook to automatically forward the emails to the trash.

You clowns don't have to whine about diversity in every single post, good lord. I personally don't even give a sh-t about DEI, but it's only ever the right wingnuts who inject it into everything here

Correct on all points. Speaking from decades of experience, just keep your head low, do your job and wait out management. Find a hobby or side hustle to stay cerebrally gratified. Executive leadership will eventually transition out and hopefully new leadership will breathe life and hope back into this company.

Makes me laugh when people complain about the stock. Every stock is down, welcome to the super bubble. At least find something valid to complain about so you don't look so ignorant.

I agree about the diversity and inclusion culture is cr-p.
My bankers don't speak to me unless necessary or include me .
I see meeting invites for happy hour, invites for online games. I don't get invited to any of them.
