View Stankey as some kind of rockstar? What has he done for you lately? What has he ever done besides having run AT&T into a destroyed, worthless company. So many here still want to put him up on a pedistal. Why?

Stank is a complete disgrace! The only people who worship him are the folks riding in the private jet to the Master's with him, sitting with him at Dallas National Golf Club for fancy dinners, or about to sign a stupid, overpaid deal for employment. He's literally the biggest failure of any fortune 500 company in history! Oh, and the crew of dorks that work for him in the c-suite are just as hideous!

The company is running (inspire), I think you mean (in spite) of Covid. Look here boot li---r. The company would have been well positioned build out the fiber network with CAPEX and could have begun to sunset legacy services. There would have been job losses but also opportunities to move to the growing parts of the business. Instead we have Stankey who knows more about anything, anywhere trying and succeeding to place AT&T in over a ONE HUNDRED TWENTY BILLION PLUS debt. That is why T is trading around 18 bucks per share there sport.
The only ones who like him are his loyalists that he has rewarded despite lack of delivering results.

Yes, Randall was CEO. Stankey kept extreme pressure on Randall to execute the acquisitions. Without Stankey it's doubtful these acquisitions would have ever occurred. Please join me and wall street in holding Stankey accountable. Don't know if the debt from these transactions will eventually bankrupt T, but most likely will at some point.
AT&T was run into the ground by Randall S. I’m not defending Stankey but he inherited a mess when he took over.
Who puts him up on a pedestal? I don't known anyone personally. But if you read through many responses to this forum, these bootlickers exist! They come out of the woodwork to defend Stankey at every turn. Example: it's not Stankey s fault for the failed acquistions! Bullsh-t, Stankey is 100% responsible. He would do it all again tomorrow if he could get the money. Thank God he cant!
