T is 100% owned by a wireline company, just like Cingular is. And yes, they both need to be spun off along with DTV.

Three way split. A) Wireless RetailStores/Centers, B) Wireless Network Infrastructure C) Wireline. Sell A, Keep B (resell to A) and declare bankruptcy for C.

Upgrade govt wireline to fiber at no cost and then sell off wireline to highest bidder. This would put T back in the black and out of the red.

No spin off required, just off load wireline. Realistically no one will buy an aging infrastructure that has reached end of life. Just downsize and put on life support and use contracted services to maintain it.
