BoD should hire Rima along with him.
I bet he announces he's leaving later this week.
Maybe he's doing exactly what he was brought here to do...
He’s probably one of the most brilliant CEO’s hands down. A brilliant strategist and leader.
The current CEO is responsible for the loss of the #1 US network status. As for being promoted from within the rank and file, due to his network engineering savvy, in a role for CTO, prior to CEO??
The BOD, realizes the debacle of the stock price??? And the need to continue the increase of free cash flow and to gain marker share??? The BOD is blinded by the light, smoke and mirrors.
CEO: need external vetting and hire. Example, recent, Starbucks. Job requirement(s), understand the US Consumer, whereby 67%+ of the US economy, and comprehend US business 33% of the US economy. Candidate(s): current, MasterCard CFO, understands the US consumer and corporate America.
The BOD thinks Hans walks on water.
Lowell made several terrible acquisitions (Terremark $1.4B, Hughes Telematics $612M, AOL $4.4B, Yahoo $4.4B, Fleetmatics $2.4B), but Hans leadership took Verizon to a new low with his strategic decisions on the 5G network buildout. Under Lowell, working at Verizon was like swimming against the tide with annual RIFs, sometimes more. Then Hans made it a RIF tidal wave when he rebadged IT data centers employees to IBM and in the following year rebadged 1500 employees to Infosys.
Hans didnt cause the downfall of VZ,lowell mc adams did,HANs is just a scapgoat and an id--t.
Maybe he'splaying undercover boss somewhere......
Verizon isn't anywhere close to bankrupt. When you're paying out $26 billion in dividends each year, there are obviously things you can do before even being close to bankruptcy. Free cash flow in 2021 was close to $20 billion. Right now it's a questions of keeping the stock price up as much as possible and that means keeping the dividend going. But if we had to we could choke the dividend, let the stock price take a dive and pay more debt off. You see though, the shareholders ARE the owners and they don't want the price to dive any more than it needs to, so here we are, a company in search of a winning strategy. Maybe we'll miraculously hit oil at some future date with our investment in 5G. Maybe not. It will be interesting to look back a year from now and see what we've done to address the current issues.
Hans is a lifer. The VZ BOD absolutely love him and all he stands for. He will still be re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic while Verizon is in bankruptcy court!
He is AWOL, and ain't nobody doing nothing about it.
At this point isnt he just an occasional guest host on up to speed?
Any would be candidates for CEO of, for now, a Dow Jones Industrial Average? Possibly Verizon could be displaced from the subjective list of the 30 corporations?
Sell at $46/share, if the bid/buy, can fetch the price.
Maybe he is sick, perhaps even dying?
CNBC Interview: looked frazzled because of not telling the entire truth because there were many open issues unresolved. Fox example, make a future prediction without merit as to the corporation's goals, increased dividends [ok], but loftier goals, such as share buybacks - a very unthinkable and very difficult prescription to fulfill.

This interview? From January? He looks frazzled in the video too.
Aame here to post the same , CEO , CMO and CIO must go they are the definition of incompetent
CEO: for a CEO to be missing in action, for the last six (6) months is an unthinkable long time? How can this be justified?? Six months would be the beginning of March 2022. When did the CNBC morning interview with Becky Quick air on the roof top?? This CEO was interviewed on CNBC Mad Money less than six (6) months ago, if correct.
Where would you see the CEO or not see the CEO?? In the C-Suite offices at Basking Ridge???
OP: Reasons, why is this ridiculous?? Please lend details thus can opine. Clearly, there are obvious reasons. Broadening this discussion if anyone is reading or listening. Share price erosion, loss in Verizon's wireless market share, no vision or lack thereof, incredulous selection of EVPs, and loss of status as to the #1 wireless network?????
He has hardly been seen or heard for the last 6 months. I think it's more likely than not they are looking for his replacement.
