WFH ACCOMMODATION

Hello. I wanted to know if anyone has applied for a permanent WFH accomodation. If ao, what was the result? I was informed we CAN apply for this accommodation (those that already WFH).

Your chronic fapping doesn’t count as a disability.

The company should be forced to buy the WFH employee 4 new outfits per calendar year. We need to look nice on zoom calls.

I don't think the company will totally enforce WFH. If the company gets 75% of employees reporting to an office, they will consider their policy effective.

It's going to be interesting to see who wins the telecommuting challenge. The company or the employees. I'll put my money on the company. Although the company has never been able to manage any function, why would this be any different?

The accommodation will be that T will mail your surplus notification to your home instead of making you come into the office. One down, 50K more to go.

The inability to overcome your fear of being in and around the public is not worthy of an accommodation.

Get yourself exemption based on disability. If you are over 600 lb you can work from home. There is no office chair that will fit you.

Accomodation?
Sure, T will buy you home office furniture. They will pay for phone, cell phone, fax, HSI. T will pay $200 a month to reimburse for monthly electric bill.
Can you think of anything else you might need?

I have been mostly WFH for over 20 years and exclusively for at least the last 15 years. Nobody I work with is closer than probably 800 miles. It all depends on the work you do and how well you do it and the whim of your VP.

The real accommodations - mow the lawn, Costco runs, wash the car, long naps.

WFH accommodation? Medical? I don't think "I don't want to go in" is a valid reason for a request.

The fact that you're clueless as to how to even start to figure out how to do this speaks volumes.

I mean, what DO YOU THINK you should do? What would be the most logical step?

Post to a random board that, while entertaining, is nonetheless a fountain of misinformation?

What don't you understand? T does not sanction telecommiting, unless it favors them to do so

The only time a work from home accommodation is granted is if you have a medical need. You’ll have to have your physician complete all the forms and submit them just like you would any other accommodation request. You will not get an accommodation because you don’t want to return to the office, because of daycare issues, you have to have a medical need to work from home.

You are definitely someone who needs a return to office supervision.
