I'm not a fan of the anchor days, but I'm grateful that there's some flexibility. There are a lot of companies that are requiring in house five days a week even after they promised remote work. How does that work? No idea.
Pre-pandemic we didn't have this option. I do wish that Nike would match our "tech" competitors and offer fully remote. Not likely, but hopeful. I hope that we offer more flexibility as I feel there's less than before. Let your Manager decide. Give employees autonomy and the choice.
However, there are the lazy ones that don't really work and have actively taken advantage. We all know who we are talking about. And they get promoted? How is this possible when I work 5X more and then some? This is where Nike needs to focus and ensure the Managers, MANAGE!! There are a lot of lazy folks that have taken advantage even pre-pandemic. "My best friend is my Manager and I'm pregnant." They'll cover for me. Yah dah yah dah I'm frankly tired of it as a woman.
I want time, documentation of your work and the hours and accountability. Nike doesn't owe you a pay check. You owe Nike work; that's why you were hired. Crystal?
My apologies everyone for my diatribe. Do you ever feel like you're the only one working?
