Thread regarding Ford layoffs

The worst case scenario

I too am very disappointed in Ford, I have seen and experienced some things that are not at all fair, etc. However, I do not think that the company will fail without me, and I see that there are such people.

Why all the darkest forecasts, for example that the company will continue to rapidly lose clients and eventually go bankrupt? Only someone terribly arrogant and malicious can say that.

Some brand new Ford vehicles have more rust on the exhaust system than a car driven in Michigan winter for 10yrs.

I thought only Russians or Chinese could make cars that bad.

Think carefully why so many people are saying this.

The people who will cause Ford to fail or succeed are the executives. Time will tell, but it does not look good to me. I will never buy another Ford, there are so many choices that are better priced and better quality.

I think you are missing the point. The company won't fail without me, it will fall because it forgets is core principles. And that is what we are seeing.

Ford wants to be Tesla. Huh? Ford should be Ford: continue making great cars and trucks, with a mix of ICE, hybrids, and EVs.

Once Ford gave up on building the best cars and trucks they could, and turned to a vaporwareish data and subscription economy, their quality plummeted.

People are turning away from Ford in droves. Ford continues to hemorrhage market share. The vaunted F150 may not even be the best selling truck in there near future. These are the going to be the downfall of Ford. Not my leaving the company.
