The rollout of Mission One is happening differently than previous restructuring.
Instead of each region all going live at the same time, each region will have teams going Mission One at the same time.
Balt/Wash is part of round one.
SRs have been ‘displaced’.
If you are displaced your DM will try to convince you to apply for the SA position. Salary grade 3, but you get to keep your car.
Don’t do it! If you apply and don’t get the position you will forfeit any severance initially offered.
Criteria for deciding who is kept is based on geography, end of year ranking and tenure. In that order.
If displaced, you will be offered the opportunity to buy your company car.
You are not automatically offered the FTOW position, you must apply for it.
Trust no one. Make your best decision for you and your family.
Did hear that GPS phones are going away for SRs. Scary if the FTOW positions aren’t filled. It always falls back on SRs to get the job done. I remember 50+ hour weeks.
