I was SIRP'd in August and I all my friends that are still working are pi---d I got 9 month of pay and the are going to get the shaft unless they retire by Nov30. It has strained relationships. Ford should do the right thing and offer a voluntary with at least 6 month to at least equal everyone to June 1 2023.

You know nothing is getting done by the folks still there who are leaving Nov30.

Another plan would be to let them retire but create a retiree work pool that could call on the knowledge of these engineers for the next year or so. Short term consultants. A lot of these folks would still like to work.

There are a bunch of SULEV30 programs in the pipeline that will never make it thru sign off let alone certification. Nobody is more dedicated than the seasoned 20-30yr engineer that knows how to get chit done.

Ford leadership (JF) wants to see how many old, wrong skills, untrainable employees quite by December 1st, before their lump sum pensions go down 20% January 1st. After they get that head count reduction they will start more terminations, department by department until they reach their total head count reduction goal at the end of 2024. One of JF's top priorities to to eliminate high cost country head count. Next round of terminations will begin 1H 2023, with DT and iERP NA roll outs. Good luck, your clock is ticking.

I was asked of my plans. Said no to retirement. Coworker said yes to retirement. I was terminated and she was not.

The new Ford. Treat little like commodities. Ask them to bleed for the company, give them no loyalty in return. Ask people for their plans related to retirement, while telling others that their last day is today and then immediately removing their access.

When I quit, they'll know as I'm walking out of the door for the last time!

It is so insulting that a company would request a survey of a persons plans when they walk people out with NO notice at all. Where do these ideas come from? So sad...

I'll listen to the webcast but I'm not going to complete a survey.

"waiting for the retiree's to go"

Let's plan on "informing" them that their pensions are going to drop in an email and attaching them a "voluntary" survey link to find out what their plans are. Really?
Bad taste Ford, very bad taste.
Worst "family" ever.
