I've heard from two managers that CCG is planning layoffs so I believe it's true and long overdue. I can tell you after many years at Intel that these come in regular cycles so sock away your money for the rainy days. I've been preparing for this for years and I'm looking forward to getting a package and saying goodbye. Intel has been good to me, but I'll move on and let someone younger take over.

I guess they will cut 20% of HC, while possibly raising pay selectively
