Maybe not directly impacting the revenue or profit, but the productivity can be measured for those jobs that are traditionally seen as difficult to measure. IBM may already have some sort of surveillance in place. Anything can be measurable.

I would say 2/3 of IBM is measurable All of GBS (billable hours), sales (quota), lab services (billable hours), TSS (utilization), and even cloud (utilization). Approx 1/3 of IBM would have a much harder time defining measurable
PIP’s are used for under performance against a measurable objective. RA’s are used for businesses IBM chooses to exit. I don’t think PIP’s are the new RA unless IBM has figured out how to measure difficult to quantify jobs (eg Sw development, research, design, etc etc)
ibm is unless company and one of the worst in the market , so i expect to not see them in next 10 years
I just find it easier to WFH and spend most of the day working on my realestate business. Layoffs are always tops down. Once you are identified it's too late. PIP, RA, etc.
Yep, they laid off everyone in the USA today. Bye!
PIP is the new RA
No RAs, only PIPs... this is the new IBM model to save on separation costs.
Before the end of the month?
