Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How many of your colleagues have left in the last 2-3 months?

More of my colleagues left in the last 2 months than in the last few years.

T employees that have been here for any length of time become complacent and lazy and the desire to look elsewhere for employment becomes an arduous task that nobody wants to deal with! The money is good at T and most people are usually very nice, management is an exception, therefore, when people are older and have 15-20 years under their belt, it becomes very hard to leave. The resume creation and interview processes are avoided like the Covid plague!

Most who have worked @ T more than 20 years have no other options.

I don't have colleagues.
I'm not on a team.
I care not about execs, policy, edicts, directives, social media, social justice BS.
Not here to make friends, socialize, suck up or be fake loyal.
I'm here to make $$$. A lot of it. And I do.
Go watch the Queen's funeral or the View.
You folks who worry about this stuff will never survive.

People & coworkers come and go. Just focus on your job at hand and do it well. This is how AT&T will move forward and become #1 again.

There will be quite a few leaving, before the end of November, that are in the Legecy-T management pension plan when the IRS Segment Rates go up in November because of all the Bidumb bucks.

The Stink is happy that he does not have to pay any severance!

People are leaving, but in addition to that we have a big surplus coming.

Can you provide the source if this info and define big?

I agree. People are leaving, but in addition to that we have a big surplus coming. This should tell everyone what the state of the business is.
Also hearing execs retiring and/or leaving during the reorg. All execs are forced out and not Locke up by other customers.
