I find it funny when I say I'm quiet quitting, and some older employees ask me what happened to company loyalty. AT&T declared war on its employees a long time ago. They don't pay us enough, take away our benefits, have non-stop layoffs, and I'm supposed to feel grateful and loyal to them? He-l no. I'm quiet quitting until they either lay me off or fire me.

Are you trying to somehow imply the the end has come for "cradle to grave" jobs? I could never live like that. New job every 4-5 years. No way!
I wouldn't use the term company loyalty. It's just common decency to do the work you are being paid to do. Accepting money for work you have decided not to do at all is theft. If you justify it now. It can become a bad habit. If they decide to fire you as they should, It will be harder for you to get another job. Since you dislike this company so much, the best thing for you to do is start an aggressive job search while putting a decent effort into your current job.
Most companies don’t care about you. The days of staying someplace 30-40 years and retiring are the exception and not the rule. The older generation didn’t have to deal with that and still think it’s a thing. Most a learning late in life that there is no such thing as loyalty when they get pink slipped. The younger folks have lived it. Before ATT, I worked at many places and saw layoff after layoff. I have no illusions about the reality in todays world. It’s a job. I come here to make a paycheck. I do my job and I head home. I know that I’m expendable. When my time comes or something better comes along, I’ll move on.
Congrats, OP: that's exactly what quiet quitting means. Some "experts" recently tried to brainwash the masses into a sweeter scenario, where one would take it easy for a while, and then crank up the work back to breakneck levels - no! Quiet quitting is essentially kissing your job goodbye and letting the employer figure that out, if they're capable of even that.
You are an aging expendable resource at any job. Be loyal to your family and yourself. This is just a job like any other. Worse than many in fact.
Stinkey has clearly stated he doesn't want lifetime employees and loyalty does not matter. Of course the rules are different for Officers. Especially his cronies. He thinks he can buy people with the hope of getting a connection award. In my humble opinion this was a big mistake. Same attitude as GM in the 70's.
A T T is a corporation and not a charity. They are expected to be this way. C W A is doing zero to improve our conditions. The union is supposed to be the force that pushes back. C W A has more interest in social justice topics than protecting its dues payers
This company will never give a cr-p about their employees, so there’s absolutely no reason to be loyal to them.
or you can find another job where you will be content.
