Pretty clear message that the issues are known but there is no plan to address any of them. Same old tired talking points about assessments and compensation. At least they admitted our pay is not competitive and told us to not expect that to change anytime soon. What one word did you use to describe how you felt after the forum in the poll?

The bottom line is X months till retirement. Until then stay as busy as you can and stay safe if you are in the field. For me the bias of all management when they are supposed to not have bias is a clown show. Then management due to the culture is not engaged at all. These folks are lucky they don’t have to build something to sell.
@vbb+1iO9wjft 😂 i think that sermon is still floating somewhere over the broke-a-s Belagio fountains underneath the cube…sort of like a stinky fa-t.
Went in hopeful, came out depressed. There is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s an oncoming train. Something will break.
The one word: somber. The townhall should have been uplifting and encouraging considering all the cash flowing into EM coffers. Instead it was somber with brother Tom delivering a corporate sermon that left you knowing deep down that now matter how much you “tithe” you never be rewarded with riches in the “heavenly” kingdom of EM.
I applied to jobs for the first time today
Agree, this is not a family, it is wage labour, the same as every other corporate. No more, no less. Don't believe the hype! 😁
Next time I hear we are family, I would ask them to assess their mom, pop, wife, daughter, son and put one on MLRP. They can do PIP/PIL. Also they have to do it every year. GMFB.
They should rename
"uncon forum"
to
"incom forum".
I get tired of hearing "We are a family", "We care about you" , "treat eachother with respect". Then come review time, they insult the sh-t out of you and say you are fu----g worthless. And they wonder why people quit and morale is horrible.
Take time to become competitive due to industry gyrations?!? Haha!!
Take away the smoke and mirrors, then that reads, “Competitors are paying more, but we are waiting to hopefully see if it’s a spike we don’t have to react to, as we would be deathly afraid of paying too much on occasion!”
Seems like we attended different Uncon forums. I didn't hear an "admission" that salaries are uncompetitive and WON'T CHANGE. I heard that the there will be strong movement in the upcoming cycle but that it may take a time to restore their desired competitive position because of industry (price) gyrations. I don't like it, but I can understand that thinking. We're all disappointed with the way that many things are, but sounds to me like you interpreted exactly what you wanted to hear. Nothing wrong with that, but maybe others heard the actual words without your clear bias.
The plan is to offshore as many jobs as possible to low-cost countries. So, in their mind it's like “You're not happy ? Well, the door is open.”
More details on the forum please share presenters, topics, and other relevant material
It's all bullsh1t. Seems like we're in some kind of holding pattern.
How did they admit salaries are not competitive and won’t change? I thought that was one of the principles that’s e are competitive in the market or atleast P50 of our competitors.
