Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Fired. Being sent retirement e-mails and postcard.

I was let go and did not meet retirement eligibility. Yet, the company sends me “congratulations on my retirement” postcard and emails telling me to check on my retirement benefits.

@1olu+1iQ6ZqoV: I’m not sure what IT has to do with the wrong emails getting sent out. I guess they are the blame for all the recalls as well.

I found Ford IT to be useless overall during my time there and so I"m not surprised we keep getting emails and letters as if we still work there. I keep getting Edelman Financial Engines marketing even though my 401K is empty of vested money.

The only thing IT was fast at doing, was removing my email access 30 minutes after I was "informed that I was no longer needed", preventing me from saying goodbye to friends.

I connected to someone in Texas who spoke English well. They addressed my question as best they could. This was last week before the IRS rates changed. I thanked the lady and told her I was glad to hear Ford had some NESC staff in US.
I have had phone calls to NESC which went overseas and were less than satisfactory.
Flip a coin I guess.

Just try and call NESC. You will not find a bigger group of non-English speaking mo--ns anywhere. A simple question got transferred to 6 yes 6 different people until I hung up in disgust!
