Meanwhile we struggle to get vehicles to customers. At some point the board is going to realize that Ford is a manufacturing company instead of a tech company. Maybe when we lose the #1 spot with F-150?

All LLs need to understand, your talents are not the right ones to be a VP at Ford, we have to get them from HP because printers are electric.
In the meantime, Tesla has a recall for window close software. I can't wait for fully autonomous vehicles. Ford needs to hire more of these Tesla HTHD wizards.

Very pleased to see today's announcement about Doug Field taking a larger and more important role in Ford. This is what we needed. Our EV's and data/cloud services will be second to none in the automotive space.
I am also pleasantly surprised with the new executive hires from Google and HP. Great additions to the leadership team. With the tough reductions last month, now is the time to focus on our bright future.
