“How much social security”: Obviously Chevron employees on the USA payroll pat the same into the system as everyone else…. It is not company specific.

@aaa information is correct, and @wqr seems to be way off according to my compensation but maybe I'm making more than others on this board. I didn't think I would be, I don't work that hard. Chevron's compensation is very generous to me.

Those rates do not include bonus or, for 26 and above, stock options. Also note when comparing offers from other companies that Chevron’s pension payments can be almost 50% of salary.

wqr seems about right. If its off it is not by much. Rule of thumb is each psg is 15% higher plus the cip so about 20% total comp.
