Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

How hard are you trying to find something new?

Venting is good, but venting does not solve any problems. It is best to try to find something new. I have some colleagues who openly complain, but for some reason do not do anything to find a new job and leave this place.

It sure is a great time to look. Some people can make endless opportunity into a negative as we see here everyday. They call it “The Great Resignation” and it’s pretty much the boomers who have had enough retiring in droves. The Xers and the millenials behind us think that work is simply impossible without helicopter moms and trophies.

Lots of life lessons to be learned for sure and no work ethic in evidence so far. Don’t think that this will end well. Too coddled to make it.

Just a fake climate change article. It’s a great time to hunt for a job.
