Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

I am seeing total dysfunction and quiet quiiting

With many of the groups that I historically worked well with and relied upon. Lots of good people that were knowledgeable and reliable mailing it in and showing little concern. I have never seen the level of toxicity rise this high and it is it's highest by a wide margin. Long timer here over 20 years starting with Cingular.

Quiet promotions have always been part of needs of the business. You know...taking on more work and responsibilities with pay increase. No back fill, you can do that work also

Everyone is bragging about quiet quitting and then also wonder why they want you back in the office. Duh!

If your not rich enough to just quit then quiet quitting is a great way to save your sanity. Especially if you find yourself under poor or abusive mgmt.
If you work hard and are shafted you will grow resentful. Better to have fun and let the chips fall where they may.

Curious as to how they will pick the winners this time. The loosers are left behind to clean up even bigger mess with less people.

"....while our 401k accounts suffer..."

Yes. Current market conditions are only impacting AT&T Retirement plans.

C'mon man.

WHERE IS THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS. I MEAN MIS DIRECTORS. There is no direction, just a sweet good ole boys club raking in millions while our 401k accounts suffer

I have little respect for this organization , and it's just a paycheck. To me it's the dark pattern customer no-service tactics they use to ring hundreds of dollars in fees for bullsh-t charges, or malignant upselling, usually towards the poorest, least sophisticated customers... I've seen it first hand many times...

Leadership knows how to play the game, that's why they walk away richer than when they arrived. Just remember that , everyone knows the game, play your position and maximize your opportunities, life goes on and only a schmuck gets their feelings hurt when they take this job too seriously.

When executives walk away with millions and the head honcho hundreds of millions while stripping shareholders and employees through their clown like strategies then as far as I am concerned I will milk this beach for all that I can doing as little as I can. Remember Randall and Stankey how they knew it all and they were always years late and overpaying dearly while ravaging their play toys.

It started with Big Ed needing to get BIG and buying telco's for WireLine over copper and all the while he got big money, options, and bennies while up peons got peed on.
Randy proved to be a bigger D.A. and gave away money or bought hi and sold lo while Yes man Stink went along and stabbed Randy in the back. The smartest man in America, aka The Stink continues the tradition of bad moves and here we are. Overpriced services, diminished services, no support, bad morale and layoffs while The Stink and his boot lickers continue to raid this company of cash, while they can.

Agree. The level of I don’t give a sh!t is at an all-time high. There are a lot of people who have worked very hard and cared about the company performance over the years who are just done with the mismanagement. It doesn’t mean they down working, just fed up with the atrocious management of T.
This is resulting is poor performance by many who used to be too performers.
