Goodbye Cisco, goodbye to my director who didn't even bother calling me. Goodbye to my manager screwing me with an IPF=1. See you never again.

Good job OP! Leave with your self-respect intact. These Cisco management psychopaths aren't worth our time.
OP+1iXJJNPC don't feel bad. I once got an IPF of 0.8. I was absolutely furious and even more furious when my manager failed to understand why I was so mad.
A jump to MS is a jump in the right direction.
Cisco is a giant bucket of tu-d. I guess your 1.6 ipf puts you at the top of the bucket. Congrats!
i works 1.5hr day, my ipf 1.6. cry mgr say whaaaa
"You must have been a bottom performer with that IPF. You’re doing us a favor. Adios!"
The working 1 hour a day id--t calling out someone for being a bottom performer! ROFLMAO

Yeah, that guy named Anonymous is a real slacker! BTW, how do you know he only works one hour per day or are you just making that up to feel better about yourself for working for a demonstrably messed up company?
As for the other Anonymous:
No. I work hard my 50 hours or so per week…
Stop crying and put in the work. Or GTF out!
I’ve seen extreme incompetence in both the technical and managerial leadership so the idea that good people are rewarded and bad people aren’t is a pipe dream. And for many of us your claim of 50 hour weeks makes you a slacker.
For the OP, if you don’t feel appreciated (I obviously can’t know if it’s justified or not) go somewhere else where you will be appreciated. Regardless of your competence job jumping judiciously is most often a great income booster over the long run.
IPFs were adjusted a few months ago for employees w/ > 5 years tenure and for every year thereafter in an effort to increase base pay. My IPF went up by 23 based on tenure. So someone w/ a low IPF has likely not been w/ the company for long (or is an average employee).

No. I work hard my 50 hours or so per week. The result is a 1.4 IPF, good stock, and a good merit increase.
Stop crying and put in the work. Or GTF out!

In before the guy who beat you by 19 years
Same thing happened to me and I left immediately (within a month)

A year ago I left for a company who does not touch bonuses. Say goodbye to your yearly bonus at Cheapco.
Best of luck with MS! My manager hasn’t said anything about my IPF so I don’t have much confidence.
