Update to EthicsLine submission

This is an update to the following previous posts

(before anyone asks I'm putting in a new post so that it shows in newest so people actually see it)

After more than 4 months of no response I added a new comment to my Ethicsline submission stating that without a response I'd have no choice but to contact the EEOC. Amazingly there was an almost immediate response.

Response to Concern:Thank you for contacting the EthicsLine regarding your concerns. My name is XXXXX and I am an Employee Relations Consultant with Wells Fargo. Employee Relations case #HRCXXXXXX was also created. We have taken necessary steps to address your concerns and have closed the case as it has been resolved. You can contact me via the EthicsLine system or directly at XXXXX or XXXXX@wellsfargo.com. Please note Wells Fargo’s Non-Retaliation Policy: No team member may be retaliated against for providing information about suspected unethical or illegal activities, including fraud, securities law or regulatory violations, or possible violations of any Wells Fargo policies, including Harassment, the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, and the Information Security policy."

As you can see this doesn't actually say anything about what was done. I do know that none of the employees that I listed in my submission were contacted, so read this as we "investigated" ourselves and found we did nothing wrong so case closed.

The key takeaway from this is to not bother with the EthicsLine and just contact the EEOC or the press directly.

If this is the same area I believe it is, then a new senior manager came in and announced who was getting director and manager positions (the people that were announced were current Chase employees) and the announcement occurred before the jobs were even posted.

Totally unethical and in fact quite likely illegal, glad you are working with the EEOC, I expect to see a few more lawsuits or settlements in the near future, but then another was bound to happen at this awful company sooner or later anyway.

Yeah OP, eoe+1iYAyT04 is right. They will continue doing this so just be a good boy/girl and shut up and take it. Don't do anything to try to change the system, who do you think you are?
For those that can't tell, I'm being sarcastic ffs

You think they're going to do anything about a manager hiring one of his/her buds from a previous company? This happens on a regular basis. Just look at how much leadership Saul and his folks and their folks have brought in from their prior companies.

While your statement could have been true, the fact that I submitted screenshots and actual evidence of wrongdoing shows that the complaint was not unsupported nor frivolous.
Not to mention the fact that the company didn't actually investigate nor speak to any of the employees involved should show how seriously they take these complaints

These screenshots and meeting invites have now been shared with the EEOC who were more than interested on using them towards the fake interview scandal investigation they are conducting.

Or your alleged complaint is unsupported or frivolous

You will not be told of any steps or actions that are taken. Request a second level review. Not suggesting you not continue to pursue this outside. Just saying you request it be reviewed by another party.

The Ethics Line is managed by a 3rd party company. It is nothing more than a Call Center with a lot of employee turnover within, and not much training for those who stay. Basically a joke.
