Anyone impacted on the fiber layoffs today?

We had 4 FTs hired specifically for fiber project let go couple weeks ago. About 10 let go in county south of us and at least another 4 north. In Florida SE.
Minimal installation work? In what projects? We can't freaking keep up with our work load.
I am getting a lot more fiber in my diet. It has really helped my bowel movements.

You can thank your wonderful sales team for this round of layoffs. All the hard work getting glass in the ground and no sales team to make deals.
Only 30%? Installation work is so minimal right now.
All OOR states or very specific ones...if so, which states? Most of those employees we’re term anyway, correct?
Yes. They fired the entire out of region team. AT&T supposedly claims to offer a severance package. Not entirely sure why they decided to without warning fire an entire region.
I was not impacted but about 30% were let go. Averaging about seller per team. 2 week notice
