Remote work in the future?

Ive heard rumors swirling around that there may soon be an option to work full time remote for all employees at WHQ. Has anyone else heard this or something similar?

Remember, if your job is fully remote that proves they can hire a third party to do it. More and more ETWs and agencies are doing the work.

Years ago a famous Wall Street analyst said the biggest misunderstanding in the apparel world is that Nike is a shoe company when in fact they are a marketing company

That's what the ETW's are for.... they have to serve some purpose.

Any truth to the rumor that they don’t get their Washington County tax exclusion if they don’t have butts in seats?

“Nike culture is all about image, not substance.”

After 20 years with the Swoosh I can confirm the accuracy of that claim. Both to consumers and employees Nike sells an image. A dream. An ideal. Reality is far different from what’s being nicely packaged, marketed, and sold.

Look, they don’t give a sh-t about productivity or your happiness. They want people on campus so they can sell the lifestyle to the next group of potential employees and the cycle can repeat itself. We all may be more productive and happy at home but Nike culture is all about image, not substance.

Hah. Not until the boomer gen is no longer in charge. Mo and the silver haired Cheshire Cat grinning ken doll want you on campus or they don’t think you are doing work.

No this is not gonna be happening. They want people in the campus doing their job, Nike is seeing less productivity from remote workers.

No.

And with more than $1,000,000,000 having been invested in the WHQ campus in the last few years, there’s a higher probability that some paparazzi in Florida will snap a hidden photo of Donald Trump carefully studying the Bible.
