Was looking in WD, they’re all gone. Scars the scoop? Saving VP titles for actual executives instead of a thousand low level consultants?

They made me an AVP about 10 years ago, with great fanfare. It was like getting a promotion, but without any increase in pay.
At the end of the day it didn't mean anything. It left me with an empty feeling.
Define low level vs legit vp? Level of responsibility? Some consultants actually work their tail off and effect change in large organizations (300+)...
My mom thought it was cool.
Officer Titles are still listed, but they seem to be harder to find than before. (Personal Information/About Me/Job/Officer Title)
When they made me a "AVP" I asked a friend (who happens to be a manager in another unit) what exactly does that mean. Answer was "it doesn't mean anything".
My officer position has never been listed.
