Absolutely NO jobs are being cut. US workers are being cut, but their jobs remain, transferred to: BICM, Brazil, India, China or Mexico.

What I see...chassis d&r work offloaded to India and Mexico. DV issues seen during vehicle testing in NA is not investigated and resolved by the responsible d&r since they are out of country. NA colleague becomes the bi_tch to resolve the issue for them. NA is the bi_tch for these scab employees.

This is how it appears to be playing out on my team. Directive is recent and said to come from the top, with a very expedited timeline. This will likely be a change for the worse and seems very rushed. Hopefully the $ saved now is worth it longterm, but I have my doubts.
So we "don't have the right people", with the right skills. But these other countries do?
And this is news? It has been going on since 2008 and before. I saw entire departments here being laid off or given packages out. This is why today you have to look out for yourself. Don't get in debt. Pay yourself first.
