I think it was someone very high up who is pi---d about the direction of the company, but not Farley.
We'll never know for sure, but I highly doubt it. Just look at how unprepared and frazzled he looked in the video the morning after. Ford has the slickest PR machine in the business and this doesn't seem to have their fingerprints on it. They weren't able to put their spin on it at all. Someone high enough heard the plan and wasn't happy about it.
How about fixing vehicles that are catching fire first.

The man literally said publicly Ford has too many people and Ford doesn’t have the right people months before the anonymous (source) leaked the news to Bloomberg…. What’s the guy gotta do, put a big bright star on your forehead before you finally get the clue??

Anyone expecting the liberal media of Detroit to do a "hit piece" on Farley will be waiting a long time. Ford is all in on the progressive green energy push so Farley, and Ford, embrace the the narrative of the administration. As such, they are golden children of industry. The MSM of Detroit will treat Farley with kids gloves. Period.
