Unfortunately the entire place is a dump. From Lagos, to Warri, to Port Harcourt. They don't call it the arm pit of Africa for nothing.

They'll never clean up Baton Rouge either - operating since the 1920's.
Imagine what's floating around that water table.

Black Diamond still there. The sale to Seplat Energy of the 40% EM (Mobil Producing Nigeria) holds in their JV with NNPC (Nigeria National Petroleum, who holds the remaining 60%) was vetoed by the Nigeria government, a few days after Pdt Buhari (who is also the Oil minister) cleared it.

I worked in the area for 4 years on a 28/28 rotation. The place is generally a large dump.

After coming home, my wife would not allow me to enter our place until I stripped and was hosed off. Then it was straight to the shower.

The pay was great but the conditions were not great.

I wonder if the Black Diamond (Lekki, Lagos) is still there, ha!
