I can’t sit through those stupid, self congratulatory, pre-planned whatever you want to call them…imagine the lack of self awareness that must be involved with all of them up there high diving each other and talking about ‘the best quarter ever’ but we, the little people have to worry about whether we will still have a job next week and wonder why if it was the best quarter or best year did we not get any kind of pay bump? Oh, right, we should just be happy that we still have a job…I hope his seaplane crashes and he drowns…hopefully Abdul, Delan and Frankenstein’s monster will be on board as well.
Much easier to script the all hands when you
- Ask for questions in advance (so you can select specific questions)
- Don't show a list of all the questions
- Talk about your shirt.
- Talk about raising a benefit (childcare) which MIGHT affect about 25% of the company
- Ensure a planted LGBT person is all gooed up with face makeup in Magenta and White to extol the virtues of DEI, "socially conscious" investing, and all the other woke BS the SLT wants to push up our backside.

Kind of hard to watch. Used to love the SLT, but a lot of challenges this year including the vaccine mandate forcing out MANY good people has drastically changed my opinion.
And now we're facing the prospect of layoffs each and every day. Is today the day I get the axe? Tomorrow? Next week? Hard to take their answers seriously when it's likely the meeting before this one, they were talking about who and how many to lay off.
I'm waiting for Sievert to tell us the layoffs are "out of love" just like when he fired the unvaccinated.
