Salaried Involuntary Reduction Process

One can search the online benefits Life@Ford for the involuntary SIRP program "KA-06993". It does not, however list the # of months of salary/medical benefits that comprise the Salaried Income Security Plan.

I agree they have not officially published anything, but you can see the max has now been lowered by 3 months.

They did just recently change this text from 9 mos to 6 mos. That is quite significant.

ok if you look at the listing it is under a paragraph not a chart. They have not officially published anything yet.

If you search on severance the faq document in very last paragraph says up to a max of 6 months pay. This was formerly 9. New, lower amount.

Look at article by month. It was updated 1 month ago.

To be specific, that site is The Salaried Income Security Plan, and not the SIRP site which was taken down. I think that is the 'umbrella' program for any involuntary separations. It mentions severance benefits but does not indicate the number of months. However, under Welfare Benefits, it does list up to a maximum of 6 months. Same with Reemployment Assistance.

What I would like to know is what it said in April 2022 where separated employees received 9 months insurance coverage.
