Most of the higher LL's in PD have 4 PM to 5 PM tomorrow 8-16 as private on their calendars. This tells me that the ball will drop on the 17th.

Do you think they are bold enough to do a visteon type spin off of engine and transmission groups. The calibration groups were merged last week. We don’t have and new trans designs nor any new engine stuff being developed.

It is not just 8-17. The LL's have 4 PM to 5 PM as private on 17, 18 and 19th of this month.
It is likely we wont learn anything for a while. Besides, town halls will be needed to address engine fires, poor quality, and the many recalls for the foreseeable future.🙄
Agreed. They won’t share anything even in town halls. Probably doesn’t matter at this point and will know more end of this week.
It's probably the first of many of these kinds of meetings. It is alot of work to plan and execute a big layoff at a large company.
I’m not sure each division will have cuts at the same time and the same day (tomorrow). That would be a very well orchestrated plan.
The meeting is 4-5pm Tuesday because they have to execute the reductions starting Wednesday AM…duh
Also it is hard to find an open time in the AM for all those LLs to meet due to recurring design reviews, staff meetings etc. Late afternoon is probably one of the only feasible common semi-open times.
Maybe if the company shared its news instead of leaving all of us in the dark for 4 weeks, we wouldn’t have to speculate so much on an Internet forum that predates 2010.
This is the kind of daytime soap opera nonsense that gets people riled up. #1 if the meetings are from 4-5, do you think they are going to drop the hammer at night? #2 This is the same kind of logic that says my car pulls to the right..... must be a design flaw instead of bad tire inflation or alignment. STOP WITH THE DRAMATIC CONCLUSIONS WITHOUT CONCRETE EVIDENCE! It amplifies peoples' already high tension level.

Town halls scheduled, Q&A only allowed head of meeting. I’m ready finally for some news. Another weekend in the dark sounds like a bad time.

NDA's and all of this cloak and dagger stuff, typical corporate weasels.
My LL already voluntarily told me about the meeting and they don’t know the agenda or any timeline. They have to sign an NDA.
I am the OP and I don't need Guts to ask my manager. I have 33 years and I need the package or else I need to leave in November without the sweet 9 months pay.
