13 Reasons Why I Want to Quit

  1. the lo----e reps I often get on the phone, mainly unwilling to do any of their job and wanting to make mine harder:)
  2. the outrageous customers who come to yell at me for something I did not do and have no control over
  3. the ugly uniforms they keep coming out with
  4. the lack of work-life balance that comes with this role
  5. the amount of energy working here takes out of you
  6. the customers who think I should be able to fix their e-mail issue
  7. the fact that verizon really couldn’t care less about their frontline employees
  8. the way my commissions paycheck somehow keeps getting smaller
  9. similarly, the way my bill keeps increasing every month :-) my fav part
  10. i feel like i don’t even need more lol

The id--tic outsourced mo--ns who create an even bigger mess than the initial issue that the customer chatted in about. I spend all day every day cleaning up Tier 1s messes. They’re all incompetent and stupid.

That’s my biggest reason for wanting to quit… dealing with 3-5 pi---d off customers at a time all day long because Verizon refuses to hire competent people.

Complete dumpster fire

If I already have a job offer for more, I shouldn’t just “be happy” with what I have. How could someone be happy selling themselves short and putting themselves through all that? People really get too comfortable these days and forget that there are real opportunities for educated people out there.

The grass isn’t greener, the workers revolution is over, be happy with what you got, companies are paying 20% less than pre pandemic. You may have gotten better last year.

Made up titles here

I have met people here with zero engineering degrees or experience and yet there labeled engineer specialist with no specialty. Smoking mirrors I tell you. To make matters worse they pay managers to monitor this site to downvote anything negative its pretty amazing.

Once you realize that you work for the bad guys, everything makes sense. Verizon is part of black rock, WEF and the global cabal of corps and orgs that are trying to set forth a new world order and they would rather you eat bugs and live in a pod you will be more at peace with this nonsense. They people that try hard confuse me. Why sell your labor to enemy for so little?

actually i do have a couple more:

  1. how you can be top 5 in your territory and still have 1 bar according to contributions
  2. how I could sell $1000 worth of accessories and only 5% of that dollar amount actually counts 🤣
  3. expecting us to sell products that don’t even pay us, commission-wise
