Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Had the ECMO Hybrid call today

No change, no plans to change 50% in office. Good meeting.

That'd be nice, then if I burn PTO to avoid RTO, I'm down to 2/1. I'd take that over the 3/2 BS that most employees are being subjected to.

It has been communicated as 3 days this week, 2 days the next week. Rinse/repeat.

50% of a 5 day week huh? I haven't heard of any groups requiring 2.5 days in office until now. Or is 50% of 5, 3 in "new math"?

Did they mention how they’re playing off ECMO reps with huge swaths in HL?

I left FCI-AML for greener (external) pastures and don't regret it at all. But boy does that ring true. Management was just constantly making unforced error after unforced error with the caseload balance. Somehow always adding more fuel to the fire by cranking out more fruitless alerts (and multiple instances where they discover some batch of old ones never addressed), never adding staff or any kind of investigation standardization across teams to balance it out and offer some relief. Genuinely the poorest-run org I've been a part of. But look around, there are a lot better options out there.

Salary Wells offers for entry-level investigators in EFI and EI are low, so hard to get people. Plus, OP is right; alerts tripling in the fall, so employees will be swamped. A mess as usual.

@izg…

Lack of staffing? Inability to hire?

I’m internal nearly 15 years in. Meet the qualifications and couldn’t get a phone screen

External fraud (FCI) was just told to work 100% remote due to lack of staffing, inability to hire and a dramatic increase in case load due to a system issue that did not process thousands of referrals. Complete cluster as usual.

They just wanted to answer peoples questions and every question was asked under the sun - didn’t learn anything new, just that it wasn’t going to change anytime soon.
