We have heard tomorrow (wed), this thurs or this Friday. We've heard next week, Sept and Oct. Which is it?

Putting on my Ford HR hat, I find that just before Labor day weekend is a perfect day to cut/fire/separate 8000 employees.
I think the 'end of August' byline appears to have some substance behind it. The word on the 4-5PM meetings this week is coming from 2 sources where I'm at in PD and then I see it all over the board here so - Maybe we should ALL take vacation/sick days before and after Labor Day weekend and get our faces out of the computer screen for a while . . .
Could be all of the above. Continuous cuts for next 2 years. Won’t be a good place to work with this constant “what’s next” lingering.

Definitely happening by the end of August. I mentioned updating the org chart for our department with some recent changes and my manager replied, " Uh, let's revisit this in 2 weeks."
Don't put too much faith in the date predictions around here. It will just cause you additional stress.
