FOMOCO had to wait until TCM was complete and evaluated. This is no way to torture employees. Hey a tsunami is gonna wipe out where you live but we don't know if its next week or next month. This is terrible. Hold on to yer buts and enjoy the summer mate.
To the poster asking if performance is considered in layoffs… no one is saying how the people will be selected. In the 2008 & 2009 layoffs performance was considered with lower performers being laid off. In 2019 it seemed like “performance” was indirectly considered but not as you’d expect. They apparently went after people who would save them the most money and since high performers get bigger raises, and have higher salaries, they cut a lot of really good people. And it seemed like approaching a pension milestone was another trigger.

Will some of those people leaders be chosen to leave also?
Was told Monday we will get a link to a Farley video outlining how our sacrifices are not in vain and we are a better company and then people leaders begin the calls to outline who is in and who is out. Good luck all to those who leave and good luck to those who stay.. not sure who the lucky ones are!

Yep, what is the point of the NDAs, when they know leaks will happen. Just be straight with us and say cuts will happen the week of Aug 22nd and your LL4 or higher will be calling you.

Regarding layoffs, are performance reviews being taken into consideration? Maybe it’s wishful thinking, low hanging fruit gets picked first?

Yikes! That will be a stressful week if it happens that way. In the past it was stressful when it lasted one day. Worrying about getting tapped all day, seeing and hearing about really good people getting tapped, coming in the next day and wondering if it’s over… it would be a nightmare to have that continue for days. I suppose if they’re eliminating thousands as rumored it would cause leadership to have too much work to do it all in one day. God forbid leadership has a busy day.
