Be honest, please. I often see in posts people come to the defense of the company and I have to wonder why. All that Wells Fargo is proven over the years is that it doesn't give a damn about any of us. Loyalty means nothing to them. So why defend them? Is it, as somebody mentioned in another thread, the company Stockholm syndrome, or is it something else?

There is nothing to defend. They don't make mistakes lol (the managers gaslight).
Wells Fargo is “quiet quitting” on most of its employees by refusing to increase pay in line with inflation and effectively giving them a pay cut in real dollar terms.
Many people have been at Wells too long and have no idea what it is like at other companies. Leave if you think it is so bad. See what it is like elsewhere. Believe me, it is much worse at other companies, banks included. I did leave and experienced some extremely toxic people and cultures at other companies. I realized I didn’t have it all that bad before. So much entitlement at Wells Fargo. It is a business, not a social program. I encourage people to leave if they are so unhappy. Hopefully they will be happier. But I doubt it if the sense of entitlement follows.
I prefer that people not know who I work for. When asked where I work, I say something like "right now I'm just working for one of the banks" and try to leave it at that.
There 100% are people on this board who think that about RTO though
Thats 100% troll post and not what someone actually believes.
It’s someone defending another misguided move by WF, of which the commenter I’m poking fun at disingenuously claimed to have not seen much. The “everyone who disagrees with me is emotional while I am rational” move is the oldest trick in the internet tough guy playbook.
Thats a new thread posted an hour ago…. That would be an emotional post, there is no fact posted, just conjecture and assumptions.
Wow look at all these "fact based responses to emotional based [sic] posts" lol
Like the nutcase who just posted the other thread, https://www.thelayoff.com/t/1ikTbkyv , with this eloquent OP:
"What in the he-l is wrong with RTO? I'm sure most of you complaining are the same people taking vacations, going to bars/ clubs, gyms and movie theaters with the general public so why can't you go into an office an work?... Be thankful you have a Job because one day you'll be laid off like so many this year!"
You will think exactly like me, or I will not tolerate your presence!!! Also, diversity is great!
This site never fails to embarrass.
Being “loyal” to any company, and expecting a return of employment retention in my opinion is self-limiting. Career growth in any org is better served by the driver. Org has its equitable policies which often stand in the way of the employee. Any valuable employee is worth retaining with commensurate 💰
Can you post some examples of what you consider defending the company? I haven’t seen too many of them. I do see people posting fact based responses to emotional based posts. Those might be interpreted as defending the company, but i do not believe those are the intentions.
Wells Fargo is very generous to sponsor H1-B and to replace America

The only thing that needs to be defended here is useless threads. Go ahead and lock this one down mods. This is fully in the "who gives a S?' category.
I have not seen posts defending it
