Thread regarding Chevron Corp. layoffs

Astros vs. Oakland A’s

How much do you want to bet we see a certain visitor from San Ramon come to Houston on “business” during the September 15-18 Astros home stand against Oakland? Keep your eyes on the suite and the field box seats…

One of our top BPs has Shiner Bock in their suite. Step up your game, CVX.

I have found the food quality slowly diminishing the the Metermaid suites the last five years or so. Mostly Coors Light and dry popcorn. The sundaes are too sweet. I don’t like eating from a hat, either, that is not a top flight experience.

OP, nobody cares about your "certain visitor". Maybe the "certain visitor" should tour the office, talk with average employees, rather than hiding in the MinuteMaid suite.

Wow. Some people question whether the Layoff should discuss anything other than layoffs. Now sports?

In the Astrodome, this would have been a good series.

Oakland rocks. Amazing place. Rated one of top outdoor living cities in the world. New baseball park will add even more to a really vibrant and diverse city. Why would they want to come to Houston.
