I'm tired of not being good enough no matter how hard I work. I won't even bother trying anymore. I know this is not about my work, it's about managers playing favorites. I can't beat that and if I can't, then I'll stop trying. I'm looking for a new job right now and until I find it, I'll do my bare minimum. if I'm going to be berated every day, then I can give them something to berate me about. I'll keep my best for those who deserve me.

I can’t believe I’m still here. It’s been 10 months. Morale is horrible, if you call out the favoritism they block your system like a kindergartener. Yeah it’s time to just do bare minimum and collect the pay check while looking elsewhere. The micromanaging is extreme here. The supervisor’s are mentally unstable and don’t know anything. I’m in my 3rd supervisor in 7 months. 3 layoffs. I’ve never been laid off but at this point it would be a blessing.

I had worked there for > 15 years. Received rave reviews, exceeded expectations in all categories on annual reviews, mentored new nurses, and completed all assignments. Micromanagement became extreme, atmosphere became toxic, and revolving door of resignations spun faster. Age discrimination was very apparent. Even when I thought that things couldn't get worse, they did. I quit and it was one of the best decisions of my life.
