Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

What’s up with Enact???

Why are they blowing me up all of a sudden? They realize it’s nearly 11pm on the weekend, don’t they! Wow- rude and pretty disrespectful.

If you didn’t want to be called after hours why didn’t you just turn your phone off?
For that matter, why do you need a corporate mobile phone if your workday ends when you leave the building?

The first email was sent out at 8 PM Eastern on Friday (I already checked out for the day)… so they start blowing up my personal phone at 7:30p and 10:30 PM Sunday night.. that’s not right - I don’t care what Apple did I only care about the actions taken by the bank to disrupt my weekend.
I drove 14 hours and got home at 9 PM just to get woken up an hour and a half into my sleep by a phone call and text. Ridiculous. There’s no reason for them to set an unreasonable timeline to complete this over the weekend when it’s no guarantee people even have their corporate phone on them since it’s the weekend!

I'm the last person to defend this company, but if it's related to your Corporate iPhone, blame Apple. They pushed out a security software update 2 days earlier than scheduled.

Just install the latest Apple update to your Corp iPhone and you will be taken off "the list" and the ENACT messages will cease. They are being sent hourly until you install the Apple update.

If you miss today's 5pm local time cut off -- which was extended into today from midnight last night -- your iPhone will be completely wiped by Apple.

The software was pushed by Apple late Friday in the Americas (sux for APAC and EMEA) - so those who installed right away on Friday in the US were spared the ENACT weekend notifications.

Good luck!!
