Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Who is going to actually do the firing?

I have a routinely scheduled 1:1 with my LL6 this week. Been here less than 6 months.

What LL does the firing? Could this be an opportunity for it to occur?

I’d bet a lot of LL6 get let go as well. You don't need that many when you have 10% less GSR

The name Ford brings painful Vehicle and work memories.
I think it is time to change the logo ..
I hate that blue oval. Stands for recalls and layoffs ..
That is what it feels for most people, even if you like to talk about model T!!

Usually, upper management like LL5 or LL4 will do the firing. Not your direct LL6.

Separation occurs at a special one time meeting with a leader high enough that you don't regularly interact with her/him. HR rep will attend.
